On an annual basis, TPO staff evaluates all eligible priority projects for Marion County based on policies of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and TPO policies. The projects are identified and selected from the TPO’s 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), Cost Feasible Plan. This evaluation process includes an objective and technical review of each priority based on level of service, physical condition, facility type, benefit to the roadway network, local partnerships, construction cost, and scheduled work program phase. This process also includes close collaboration with technical staff from the cities of Belleview, Dunnellon, Ocala and Marion County.
The following list provides the LOPP adopted by the TPO Board on June 25, 2024, to support the development of the next TPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Tentative Work Program for Marion County.
