The Ocala Marion Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is committed to ensuring all individuals are given the opportunity to participate in the planning process. Effective public involvement is instrumental in informing residents and gathering public input. The TPO also actively seeks public input to guide the transportation decision-making process. Quality public input provides the TPO a better understanding of the communities’ needs and allows for a clear and open dialogue that translates in to mutually effective decisions. Specifically, input from the community helps identify trouble areas and issues and ensures the efficient implementation of policies and procedures.
